Personally I really love the way you drew Estelles bikini there in the closeup one. You really get a good sense of scale there when you compare Joshua to her one polkadot there haha.
Thanks, and yeah, I was thinking the same, it really puts into perspective how the guys have absolutely no chance of getting up with the girls on top of them haha
And (un)fortunately for them, Estelle is completely oblivious, meanwhile Josette 100% is gonna try and keep things that way, on top of bullying Agate the whole time while Estelle is distracted, super smugly knowing Agate is too stubborn to try and get Estelle’s attention lol
I imagine Joshua was half-speechless and frozen in embarrassing awe as things started unfolding, before Estelle soon enough unawarely adjusts to sitting on him fully, his delay so conveniently leading to the option of getting her attention being taken away.
Meanwhile Josette pokes fun at how it’s *real* suspicious that not just Agate, but even Joshua, both conveniently threw away or ignore the opportunity to get out of this situation, which annoys Agate even more because Josette’s put him in a lose-lose situation where nothing he can say or do isn’t gonna be some form of giving in to her. And it extra annoys him because he knows that Josette knows it too and that she’s absolutely loving it lol
If you couldn’t tell, I’m looking forward to writing the story for this one😄

Aww its a really cute there~ I don’t blame Estelle for being so happy as shes giving them the ice cream there, their joyous faces are totally worth it hehe. Also Josette’s expression is golden there it really is the perfect mischievous expression there haha. RIP Agate…though maybe the dudes are also getting exp for this? Wouldn’t be surprised if thats the case with how often they’ve been sat on lol
Its looking great! I really like their poses too, you can tell the two of them are having fun eating ice cream at that size.
For sure, Estelle’s popularity among the kids has probably skyrocketed even higher than it was before, much to her satisfaction too lol
I always found it really cute how Estelle just naturally gets like every child to look up to her, and half the time scream in joy just upon seeing her lol

It’s never a dull moment when those two are around, and those guys always manage to end up in the best places! 😄 I imagine they’re very used to these situations at this point, haha.
… actually, it’s to the point where one has to wonder if they’re intentionally trying to be sat on. Well, I can’t say I’d fault them for that in these scenarios, lol.
It’s great to see the considerable improvement you’ve had overtime. Every aspect has gotten better, in my opinion! Very inspiring. I actually enjoy going through an artist’s gallery from time to time, just to see how much their art has changed in their journeys. The feeling I get from doing that truly motivates me. I appreciate the hard work and I’m looking forward to seeing you continue to improve. It definitely shows!

Haha yeah, with how often it happens, it does raise some questions. Surely they’d be able to see it coming by now 😅. Although, it probably doesn’t help that Josette 100% follows up purposefully on Estelle’s sheer unawareness lol
And thanks, I’m happy with the improvement too. It feels simultaneously both surprisingly long and short when I think of how long/not long I’ve been making art. There’s definitely tons of small things I do a specific or different way now compared to before. Especially when it comes to shading stuff I feel.
Like for example, I used to just shade things with pure black, but now I always use the same-ish color but with ~200% saturation and ~60-70% darker, plus other stuff like actually being able to shade things without any line art in more detail, by duplicating & erasing for perfectly smooth eges, as opposed to trying to actually select the radius and shade it normally, etc.
Progress update #2. How did a week go by that fast!? I have been playing a ton of Cold Steel 3 though, so that’s probably part of it haha.
Detailed the panels, as well as the sand, and started to fill in the sky, etc. Finally will get to the foreground area with the cliff soon. Oh, and there’s the ice cream too I need to detail.
This really has a lot going on for just 1 illustration, now that I think about it.
